Bendigo, a city steeped in gold mining history and with many fine heritage buildings, is only 15 minutes away. With a population of 70,000 Bendigo has many schools, secondary colleges, a technical college, a university, large municipal library, hospitals, performing arts centre, art gallery, sporting facilities and churches.
There is a highly skilled labour force.
The city supports an industrial, retail and service base, shopping and tourist attractions, including many restaurants.
There is a Sprinter train to deliver you to the heart of Melbourne in under 2 hours. A fast train service to Melbourne is now being planned by the State Government.
A City Airport is nearby.
The city attracts business from surrounding rural areas.
Bendigo has a mild climate with regular rainfall of 20 " or 500 mm. per annum.
The local council, the City of Greater Bendigo, has an active Development Department and is keen to attract new business.
Melbourne, the capital of Victoria has 3,000,000 residents and is Australia's second largest city.
The Melbourne International airport is only 90 minutes from Pinpandoor. We recommend that Melbourne clients take the Tullamarine Freeway to Tullamarine (ignore the turnoff to Bendigo) continue past the Airport, turn right before reaching Sunbury, and go through Romsey and Lancefield to Tooborac. Then go through Heathcote to Axedale. Alternative routes from Melbourne are via the Hume Highway - Kilmore, Heathcote and Axedale or via the Calder Highway - Elphingstone, Sutton Grange, Axe Creek and Axedale.
If you are travelling from Bendigo turn left into Sugarloaf Road just before Axedale.

Imagine a site with two parallel mountainous ridges and superb views in the middle falling away to gentle slopes around the edges.
Imagine eucalyptus trees, many varieties of shrubs and beautiful wildflowers. In this environment roam dozens of grey kangaroos, black wallabies, echidnas, possums, sugar gliders, tuans and many different bird species, from the majestic wedge tailed eagle, to the tawny frog mouth, to tiny blue wrens and striped pardelots.
RELIGIOUS, ETHNIC, NEW AGE, ENVIRONMENTAL GROUPS, ECO-TOURISM, HEALTH RESORT OR INNOVATIVE BUILDER.
Have you and your friends ever dreamed of living where you could individually and collectively help one another achieve your lifestyle objectives?
At Pinpandoor that dream could become a reality. Maybe you would want to build your own mud brick (adobe, bale or straw) home, grow your own fruit and vegetables and share the fish from dams installed on individual lots.
You could plan something quite unique here, maybe a holiday resort, health centre, eco-tourism resort, or an international visitors' hide-away.
It is all a question of who has the vision.
STAGED DEVELOPMENT
Pinpandoor has been planned in stages so that lots may be released to meet demand.
All lots in Stages 1 and 2 have now been sold.
See What's New and Subdivision Map for details of lots currently available.
SCHOOL BUS AND RUBBISH COLLECTION
A school bus runs along Sugarloaf Road and Pinpandoor Road and there is a wheelie-bin service to all lots.
